How we can help
Visually ImpairedWe have a version of this site specially designed for users with visual impairments. The site should respond well if you change the browser font sizes.
You can access a version of the site using fewer graphics and a black & white colour scheme from here. The normal version of the site is available here.
Physically ImpairedThe centre has recently installed facilities to make the Auditorium and Colne River Room accessible for wheelchair users. We have a Disabled Toilet accessible from both venues.
In order to accomodate wheelchairs in the auditorium we have adapted a number of seats that can be removed. It is essential that we know at the time of your booking that you will need wheelchair access in order that the seating can be prepared for the performance.
There are no additional restrictions for wheelchair access in the Colne River Room.
Unfortunately the following areas of the building are only accessible by using steps:
- The Theatre foyer and Roskilly Bar
- The Charles Room
- The Upper Rehearsal Studio
Hearing ImpairedUnfortunately the auditorium does not yet have a hearing induction loop fitted, generally front row seats can be allocated at the time of booking if you notify us at the time.
Dogs for the DisabledWe welcome Dogs for the Disabled, Guide Dogs, and Hearing Dogs. Water for dogs is available on request. Because of the space requirements in the auditorium not all seating areas are suitable for patrons with dogs for the disabled. Please contact the centre when booking the event to ensure we allocate a suitable seat. There are no restrictions for patrons with dogs for the disabled in the Colne River Room or the Charles Room.
