Music 24

'Musical Herts is a community music therapy project supporting people diagnosed with dementia and their carers. This group has been running for 3 years now and provides a creative outlet that maintains and improves people's physical, mental and emotional well-being. Activities include : improvising on a wide range of instruments, singing familiar songs and dancing.People also have the opportunity to socialise with others in the group and make friends.

Light refreshments are provided.

Session price suggested voluntary  donation £5 carers FREE

The group meets on the 2nd & 4th Tuesday of every month from 10:00 - 11:30 am. (please check diary as dates are sometime changed)

Linked LAMDA Lessons AKA OLLAMA Drama

Opportunity for young people 11-21 to develop their acting skills by taking LAMDA lessons on a weekly basis with an Accredited LAMDA teachers and experienced Secondary School Drama teacher for a number of decades.

Meet for 30 minutes to 60 minutes slots in the Upper Rehearsal Room at the Pump House for a reasonable weekly fee which can be paid weekly to termly to secure a place in these popular classes.

Termly opportunities to enter LAMDA exams at their London Based Centre and gain accreditation at Pass or Distinction to Medal Level.

Opportunity to perform in local Speech and Drama Festivals.
