The Dime Notes have a fresh and swinging take on the music of some of the greatest piano players and clarinettist of the 1920s, including Jelly Roll Morton, James P Johnson, Johnny Dodds and Sidney Bechet. At the beginning of August they performed a live broadcast gig on Radio Three from the Edinburgh Fringe and have toured extensively in the UK and France . Their CD and vinyl was described by The Times as 'inspired'.
